Zurich 1953 Candidats Tournament
GM Miguel Najdorf, all a personality of the chess of century XX, only
bequeathed Obra de Ajedrez in all their race: "15 aspirings to the World-wide
Title", that was divided obligatorily in two volumes. In this mythical match the
winner was going away to later measure the then world-wide champion, Mihail
Botvinnik.
The Match of Candidates of Zurich 1953 was protagonist of one of best books
of the History of the Chess, signed by one of the participants, David Bronstein,
and although he himself assures was not work hers, his didactic commentaries
have been recognized by all the good fans. But Miguel Najdorf, another one of
the outstanding Candidates, also decided to offer his vital pen and its
experiences to this singular event, in a work that has been rescued of its
temporary one I exile.
There is doubt that we were before another incredible masterpiece of
Literature in chess, no recognized thus by all the great teachers who had
opportunity to have in their hands the Argentine edition, and that by its
lessons and depth of thought will be recorded in our memory.
